  • VALE FOOD BANK CHRISTMAS DONATIONS

    278KG of food was donated from the parents & children of Romilly Primary School during December 2018.

    John Hartland of the foodbank says by his caluculations this equates to around 800 meals.

    Both the foodbank and the school are very grateful for your continued generousity and support, and hopefull this will continue during 2019.

  • Hello,

    I am writing on behalf of Hockey Wales, letting you know about our launch of Flyerz Hockey, an inclusive hockey pathway for individuals with a learning disability.

    We believe that Hockey is for all, and we want everyone to have the opportunity to have a quality experience of Hockey.

    We are launching Flyerz Hockey with Penarth Ladies Hockey Club, who are welcoming both males and females, who would like to give Hockey a go.

  • MAD SCIENCE AFTERSCHOOL CLUB JANUARY to MARCH 2019

    Mad Science Afterschool Club is starting on 23rd January 2019 for 8 weeks at 1 hour per week at a price of £62.

    This is run by Mad Science a Community Interest Company who will be coming into the school on a Wednesday to run their after school Mad Science club, and is available for children from Year 1 to Year 6.

  • BUILDING UPDATE

    BUILDING UPDATE 

     
    Unfortunately the completion of our building work at the school has been delayed. 
     
    Our new classrooms will not be ready for another three weeks. 
     
    Having met with contractors, the Vale of Glamorgan council, and our dedicated Health and Safety officer we are confident that we are able to open the school to pupils on Tuesday as planned.
     
    We will however have to put in place the following temporary measures while the building work is being completed.
     
    Our Reception classes will be housed in the Year1 / Year 2 building for the next three weeks.

    Reception children who were due to start on TUESDAY 4th will now need to start on FRIDAY 7th September.
     
    Reception children who were due to start on WEDNESDAY 5th and THURSDAY 6th will start as planned.
     
    Parents of Reception children please be prepared to drop your children at the main entrance to the Year 1 / 2 building where Reception staff will meet you

    ALL nursery children will be housed in our existing nursery building - please drop off and collect as planned at your agreed time and day 
     
    Year 1 and Year 2 pupils please attend as planned on Tuesday 4th 
     
    All other year groups will be unaffected
