Romilly School Visit to Barry Comprehensive School

Barry Comprehensive School’s students and staff ignored the home-time bell last Thursday as they prepared to welcome visitors to the school’s annual Open Evening.

An exciting programme of demonstrations, workshops and experiments entertained and informed the visiting Year 5 and 6 students and their parents and families. Many future students joined in with the learning activities and were very enthusiastic. The visitors were able to quiz current students about their experiences at the school as well as talking to teachers about the range of subjects on offer.,

Headteacher, Gerard McNamara said, "The Open Evening was a great sucess. Visitors were keen to discover what Barry Comprehensive School has to offer and were impressed by the high quality of the work showcased during the evening."
