A Wonderful Macmillan Coffee Afternoon at Romilly

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon at Romilly this week.
It was lovely to welcome so many of our parents and carers into school to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, some delicious cake and, most importantly, to help us raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our Year 6 families, who donated an amazing selection of cakes for the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who baked, bought and donated — there were certainly plenty of treats to choose from!

Our Year 6 pupils also did a fantastic job helping to serve our visitors and ensure the afternoon ran smoothly. We were incredibly proud of the way they represented Romilly and contributed to such an important community event.
A special thank you goes to Mrs Hopkins, our Family Liaison Coordinator, who organised the afternoon and brought everyone together.
Every penny raised from the event will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, helping the charity continue its important work supporting people living with cancer and their families.
Thank you once again to our children, staff and families for your generosity and support. It was a lovely afternoon and another wonderful example of the Romilly community coming together to make a difference.
