Flu Vaccinations for Children and Young People
Flu can be a serious illness for children and young people. This autumn, all pupils from Reception to Year 11 will be offered a flu vaccination.
For most children, the vaccine will be given as a quick and painless nasal spray. Some pupils may be offered a gelatine-free injection instead.
Further information will be shared with families when the vaccination programme is arranged. In the meantime, you can speak to your school nurse, health visitor or GP surgery if you have any questions.
