Our Year 6 pupils recently joined children from local primary schools for an exciting Coastal Science and Climate Change Field Trip at Whitmore Bay, organised by the Wales Coastal Monitoring Centre. Throughout the day, pupils took part in a range of hands-on activities, including building coastal defences, investigating coastal erosion, exploring the effects of sea level rise, taking part in a treasure hunt and becoming 'Super Scientists'.

The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to develop their understanding of climate change and the local coastline, while also helping to support their transition to secondary school.
