Dear Parents/Carers,

I am delighted to let you know about a new after-school sports club starting at Romilly Primary School.

After recently finishing a long teaching career at Romilly, where I taught mainly PE for over 20 years, I have decided to set up and run an after-school sports club called Dawn Dobbs Active Futures After School Clubs.

The club will run in five-week blocks each half term, with a different sport each half term. This will give children the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, stay active and, most importantly, enjoy taking part in a variety of sports.

Our first block will focus on football. Children will work on dribbling, passing and shooting, developing their skills each week through a range of fun activities and games.

Venue: Romilly Sports Hall
Time: 3:30pm–5:00pm
Cost: £45 for five sessions, payable when booking a place

Wednesdays – Years 3 and 4

Thursdays – Years 5 and 6
17 September
24 September
1 October
8 October
15 October

Children will need to wear trainers and appropriate sportswear for each session.

At the end of the club, children should be collected from the school gate at 5:00pm.
